I love this beauty! It's been a dream of mine to get a functional replica of the Master Sword for some time now. And Mini Katana made that dream a reality. The sword is beautiful. It's VERY heavy for a sword (SCA nerd here, most swords weigh between 1 and 3 pounds), but it is beautifully balanced and no part of the sword feels too heavy. Although it could be used in one hand, I recommend using two because of the whopping 5 pounds it weighs. I am very satisfied with the quality and the sharpness of the sword. I was able to slice a pumpkin in half like butter. I have noticed a couple of discolored spots on the blade, even through I have cleaned and oiled it. It does not look like rust, because it has a strange iridescence to it. A quick oiling helps, but the spots are still there. Apart from that, my only real complaints are that it doesn't stay in the sheath very well (I bought it to the Renaissance Faire this past summer, and if it hadn't been zip-tied closed, it would have fallen out a couple of times) and about the case it arrived in. The handle is unfortunately not strong enough to hold this beast of a blade. One of the screws on mine came clean out when I tried to carry it. The hilt end of the box instantly swings towards the floor if you carry by the handle. Carry it from the bottom or under your arm instead. But overall, I am very pleased with my purchase, and waiting for the restock was worth it. I hope to adopt some friends for her when the restocks come by. I have my eye on the Shield and the Murasama...

I received this as a Christmas gift so I really can’t complain, but the sword is kind of hard to take out of the scabbard and put back in, I’m quite strong so I didn’t notice this but my brother did. Over all perfect, I am able to cut water bottles with ease!!

This sword is incredible, from the blade to the sheath it truly is the master sword! Also this sword is much heavier than a katana just beware of that.

The craftsmanship is beautiful and the materials are all very high quality! Downsides, it is very very difficult to remove the sword from the scabbard and the scabbard arrived with some decent scratches.
