In Japanese, Saku can have several meanings, one of them being to bloom or blossom. This classic, minimally embellished katana captures the very essence of Saku — subtle and beautiful.
Forged by hand from the highest quality 1060 Carbon Steel, our Saku Katana comes with a sharpened blade and a circular-shaped tsuba or handguard detailed with tiny gold blossoms. Its hilt is black with gold ornaments and its matching black hardwood saya is designed with an elegant floral pattern, handpainted in a metallic finish.

The Saku katana is one of the most beautiful blade I have ever seen. Being a professional martial artist, I personally loved this blade. I know for a fact that this was one of my greatest purchases that I have ever made. Saku Katana (1060 Carbon Steel)

After a but of stress testing against a multitude of targets the habaki came loose. The fittings on the side of the habaki are made of cheap plastic to make the strings fit comfortably. After too many issues with it I eventually just took it off and wrapped the end of the handle myself without a habaki. The handle did feel good in the hands despite the Ray skin only being paneled with the wood on the side. The saya is a little wobbly and doesn’t seal well on the sword. Other than that the blade is satisfactory for the price, it cuts well and feels pretty light. I feel as if most my money went towards just the blade, this katana is less quality than I expected.

I love this, looks amazing and feels nice in the hand. Hadn't done much cutting with it besides some cardboard and paper. But it cut pretty well. Overall great sword.
