The blade is beautiful and while not completely accurate, it's the most faithful recreation to the game's version that I have seen. Now as for the scabbard, it is almost 1:1 from what I can tell but the unfinished silver paint looks super tacky and almost as if someone marked it with silver sharpie. The "mechanical" parts of the scabbard definitely should've been fully painted with silver or just not at all.
This Thing is great.
Because of it, I started creating 3d models for his mask wich would make it fully functional. But the handle hurts in the hand if you try to swing it more than 10 times
Never played the game before but I know what it's about due to YouTube videos, gotta thank stinger for this one because it is so beautiful, high quality, amazing details and so worth the money. It feels so cool to hold and it brings out my inner child. The sword itself is simply amazing, I have a collection of many katana, a tanto, the your from one piece and some Naruto/demon slayer/ one piece katanas and this one is just different, it's video game but I'm in love with this art piece. I had a great experience with ordering and the item showing up before expected delivery date. It was slightly smaller than I expected but I still love the design.
Unfortunately the sheath of the sword did have some damage on the outside and while it looked like some of it tried to be fixed it was still quite noticeable.
This sword is amazing, I think ive had it for almost a year now. I absolutely love it. I just recently finish MGRR and im playing the Jetstream Sam DLC, and its so cool that I have ny favorite characters sword. Its honestly one of my favorite collectibles I have.
Shipping was real fast and the sword itself is stunning.
I was surpised the grip was plastic but thats fine. My problem is with the scabbard/holster. It being a piece of plastic is kinda disappointing but completely understandable. So my only real issue is the silver paint on the scabbard. It looks kinda bad

My only gripe is we don't have more metal gear swords, which would be an instant purchase. Overall the quality of the sheathe and the sword are of the highest level, highly recommend if you're a fan of metal gear rising and Sam himself.

Received this sword last week. Got it for my 14 year old son who has been talking about it for months. What a beautiful sword it is. I was notified that there were only two left in stock and I was lucky enough to get one of them. If you're wondering if it's as pretty as the photo; indeed it is.
