Works. Wished the gun handle actually shot out the blade

Weighting is great and it looks almost perfectly 1 to 1 like the 3D model. It cuts easy and is pretty good for quick slashes and thrusts
It's a good Muramasa for cutting and you can be like sam.... just remember that unlike in the game, real life swords aren't basically indestructible.

Pros:
The MiniKatana customer service is very nice and I was able to return the item with little to no issue. The blade itself looked very nice and the aesthetic was on point.
Cons:
The sword is overall way too short. The Murasama is O-Katana to Nodachi length, the replica is severely lacking in that department. The balance is terrible and it feels heavier than any other sword I have. The handle is too short, and it also hurts to hold, as the button for the high frequency digs into your hand. If it hurts to hold the sword, I can only imagine how much it’d hurt to make a bad cut with it. The saya feels cheap and the finger grooves are way too small for someone’s fingers.
This sword shouldn’t even be $180, much less $230. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day was actually ruined. You deny your weapon its quality.
Once again, thanks to Jhon and the Customer Service team for letting me return this item.

The actual sword is great. Solid grip, beautiful coating on the blade. The sheath however is lacking. its light, clearly just straight out of the mold injection molding with a prominent seam. At some point i might do a seam removal and repaint to make it look passable, maybe fill it with some foam to add some weight, but for an over 200 dollar product, i really should not have to do that

FINALLY THERE WILL BE BLOOD SHED

I've purchased the eclipse wakazashi, and the 1095 Enma. Both were perfection. This blade is gorgeous! The red is absolutely breath taking! However! This is the first critique I've ever given mini katana. I want it to be honest and truthful. The guard is loose and the blade is in no way secure in the saya. I can hold it slanted and it will fall out. The blade is pique craftsmanship absolutely beautiful! I'm sure other murasama blades didn't have loose guards or poorly fitted sayas. Take my review with a grain of sand. Mini katana is without a doubt my favorite and only place I purchase my swords. Just wanted to give some honest feed back.

I believe in being fair and balanced, and pretending like it's all bad would be dishonest. It looks badass and the red blade is incredible. It's so close to accurate to the weapon from the game. But there are major flaws that cannot be overlooked.
-The handle is too thin and doesn't balance well.
-The button on the handle cannot be pushed, which wouldn't be an issue if it didn't make the handle unbearably uncomfortable.
-The grip on the saya is so small it's like it's made for a five year old. The finger grooves will not fit anyone voting age.
-The blade is hella dull, and I bought the sharp one.
-The saya feels incredibly cheap and bad quality.
All of this pails in comparison to my biggest grievance:
WHY IS IT SO DAMN SHORT. How in the thousand hells is Short King Zoro's Shusui longer than Chadstream Sam's Murasama (A sword so long that it qualifies as a nodachi)? It's not even that it's Uchigatana length but I wanted it to be as long as Guts' Dragonslayer, it's hardly even a Chisagatana.
All of this would be bad enough for a $180 sword, but then there is the AUDACITY to charge $230 for this. Honestly it's disgraceful. I fully regret this purchase.
