The chosen sidearm of civilian Europe...

In Renaissance Europe, a variety of cutting and thrusting swords inspired a new weapon: the rapier. It was an important civilian sidearm by the 16th century, especially for fashionable and wealthy men. The long, pointed blade was ideal for precise thrusts while maintaining an ability to cut, and was popular in formal fencing. The elaborate guard protected the hand in close combat.

Rapiers were used across Europe in the 16th and 17th centuries, and were tied to social status, civilian use, and dueling. The fencing traditions in Spain and Italy were very influential, and famous blade-making areas like Solingen and Toledo sent rapiers throughout the continent.

Our rapier is made of 65 Manganese Steel with a leather handle. Because it is not sharpened, it is ideal for cosplay, display, and historical setups.

Surprisingly good practice rapier for the price

I wasn't expecting much, but the price was too good to pass up. It seems quite solidly built, and is comfortable in the hand. Makes for a good practice weapon.
