Our favorite protagonist, Tanjiro Kamado wields several swords throughout the popular series Demon Slayer! After passing Final Selection, Tanjiro receives the first sword of his own, a color-changing Nichirin which turns black — a dark omen as wielders of black Nichirin tend to not live very long. This might explain his bad luck with his swords, but also hints at his potential as a wielder of multiple techniques instead of just one!
This handmade replica of Tanjiro’s first Nichirin is sheathed in a black hardwood saya with silver fittings. The hilt is embellished with black and red detailing and a circular black handguard resembling a wagon wheel.

The sword is spectacular all except for the tip being blunted, but that’s fine. The sword is a cutting weapon for sure. I sliced the box it came in and it slid right through. Loving the blade, and I love the way it sits snug in the blade.

The katana arrived today which was a day late, but it was fine. The katana itself is a beautiful peice that is very sharp and heavy. You can tell that the handle is hand wrapped and the tsuba is just a beautiful peice. The blade fits perfectly in the saya and it feels very snug. This is my very first katana and I'm very impressed. Overall, the katana was amazing and beautiful and I will definitely be buying from here again.
