it was a good blade but it didnt come with the cloth around it and no stand i wish it would've come with those things (i bought it of my sisters acount)

AMAZING

It’s absolutely amazing. It’s my first katana, and I love it. I haven’t been able to put it down all day. One problem is the sheath came a bit damaged but that’s a UPS issue. It came a day early. Props to the Mini Katana team for such an amazing katana! Definitely would buy from them again -Shōgun

A great sample for those curious, want it for cosplay, or decoration

For those interested: I really recommend this katana to those who are curious about getting their very first katana from MiniKatana. Although it took some time to get my katana, this is a great sample of what they offer. Again I do highly recommend this for those who want a budget-friendly katana for cosplay, decoration, or whatever you use it for. That being said, there are pros and cons to getting this particular katana. Pros: Katana is pre-oiled Great size for those with small to medium hand sizes Feels great in the hand (not too heavy, but not too light) The wrapping on the handle is tight and not loose Does not feel cheap and feels like quality, especially with the metal parts of the katana Less maintenance for this katana since it's mostly used for cosplay or decoration Cons: Due to it being pre-oiled, it does have some residue on the blade, so I do recommend wiping off the old oil and re-oiling the katana for a newer look. I recommend using baby oil (as per-recommendation from Shadiversity) Does not come with a stand for the katana (I find this to be a bit disappointing due to them constantly saying on their Youtube channel that all their katanas come with a stand, that is false marketing and they should address that only their battle-ready katanas come with a stand) The blade up to the habaki (from what I can tell) is the same for all their dull katanas, even the anime ones if you look closely May feel small for those with bigger hands since the blade is almost 27 in. but the width of the blade is about 1 in. Blade straightness may very depend on your copy of the katana. Mine was a bit going to the right and is fixable, as well as due to this issue, the tsuba of the blade may not sit flush with the koiguchi of the saya of the katana (the katana guard doesn't sit flat in the handle when sheathing) Parts of the engraving on the saya of the katana are shallow and others are deeper Final Thoughts: Despite the cons, the reason I am putting this as a 4/5 is mainly because of the time it took to get this katana, which is not in fault of them since the 2-3 week arrival applies to U.S territories too, and although this katana does have listings from other places and I could have ordered it from Amazon instead, I highly recommend this one from MiniKatana due to the quality and care they put into the packaging when they ship the katana to you as well as the great customer service. Again I highly recommend this as a sample of what they offer on their website. Hope this helps those who are curious.

Very good quality, nice weight. It only came with a few scratches but other tha that it's fine would recommend if u on a budget
